i aint been on many bike forums, this being my main forum for advice, parts and the only site i have met and went on rides with folk.

beats all others IMHO and you dont get bike snobs here, it caters for all.

other sites just seem to mock folk, and that isnt on.

I agree, I haven't been on that many bike forums, I've tried a few but I've always been laughed off them just cos I'm not a bike nut ... you wouldn't believe how long it took me to work out the difference between a head steerer from a top tube!! (I'm only half way there now by the way, but I'm learning slowly!! )

I adore this site cos no-one here judges me on my bike knowledge (which is almost nought), they don't treat me like an idiot just because I'm only learning, and everyone seems to be really willing to help out!! (With the occasional silly sarky comment along the way I have to say, but it's all meant in good fun!! )

Retrobike is FAB!!

(P.s. And if anyone is going to MM10 and fancies teaching me how to put new brake cables and pads on my Raleigh, and helping me set them up properly ... then any help will be gratefully received!!

id show ya but as your miles away id just thought id offer anyway...ps if your at mm10 take piccies as i cant get there(too far away i think will have to wait and see)
