He would have disagreed with him, as he most likely did on many things when he was alive. But ashamed? Of his own son considering the evidence and doing what he thought was right? I don't think so.
And as for Salmond, it seems there's no low he won't stoop to. It would be true to say Cameron's kid was disabled and died, it wouldn't be appropriate to try and score a cheap political point out of it.
