Suitable period replacement cable outers?

I object to paying ludicrous eBay prices for short lengths of campagnolo c-record gear and brake cable outer, can anyone recommend a modern replacement that would look fine on an old bike? Pearl White, or just plain white I suppose. Needs to have silver or chrome ferrules.

You can get Shimano outer cable in white by the metre. £4 p/m at Spa Cycles for instance.
The only possible disadvantage is that it has Shimano written on it.

Clarks do white as well but only in a full kit with inners I think.

I have never found a modern replacement for the old pearl C record stuff ... if you are trying to copy that good luck and share the result if you crack it.

The modern white stuff ... well it just looks modern ...
