Steel frame internal deposits

If it's a cold day when you do it you could always warm up the 'can' before you start?

Careful! There is a thread here (I think by iwasgoodonce) who "warmed" the can prior to application. Apparently the result was that his kitchen looked like the aftermath of a days filming of an elephant porn film.

His thread made an impression on me.

EDIT: Here you go, includes some top comedy pics of the result!

Supertrol is thin enough to just know you got it everywhere ;-) I didn't do the head tube, didn't need to as by morning the stuff had leached out of the holes in the top and down tubes and wetted all the inside of the head tube :D

In addition it fizzes and bubbles up quite violenty when it first exits the can - enough to expand all around the tube. I sprayed it in the vent at one end and waited until it bubbled out of the vent at the other end, then left it to drain over night - all over the kitchen floor

The method I used would do about three frames from one can (with most of it coming out again) :D

Having used both waxoyl and supertrol - I would always use supertrol on the bike and waxoyl on the car ;-)

A few pics are on my Marin thread - look how the stuff coated the sink (doing the replacement forks) :D

WD :D
