Hi everyone :-)

A strange request I must admit.

Does anyone have one of these in their spares collection ? It fits inside the fork leg and secures it to the the bottom of the outer stanchion leg via a 5mm Allen bolt.

One of mine has a snapped spring and i'd like to replace it if I can before rebuilding.

Thanks for any help rendered :-)

Re: Rock Shox Part Request

Quadra 21 (and other Quadra) from memory, I serviced enough of them back in the day.

Re:

Came out the back of a VW Van actually
It was one spring, I cut it in half and ground a flat on each end. They're almost the same as the old ones, but in much better condition.
I figured that 2 replacements were better than 1 new and 1 old. At least the spring rate will be equal.

Re: Rock Shox Part Request

yeah, they're only acting as a buffer in there, not sure they are acting as negative springs or not sine they'll not really need them like the air forked MAG (which have different setups, the ealrier Quadra had a more MAG style setup.

The top black fork leg in the picutre, make sure the the bit (bolt hole) that looks like a crack is used as the outer bolt and not the canti bolt when you put them together.
