Right, I was bidding on this today on ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Retro-Klein-A...787624&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72:1688

I was out bid by £100 (just so you get an idea of the money I'm thinking of, or am I just too tight?), so what's out there fellow retrobikers? Inspire me........I want a new toy...

Doh  - an idea of size might help - seat tube 17-18" top tube 22-23" based on my current bike specs - I'm also about 5' 11"

Thanks
Dave

Shameless bump!

Out of 4000 plus registered users, no one has anything for sale? :(

I'll consider anything (1990's era) - with the only caveat being that its at least a frame and forks! It'll have to inspire me and push my buttons, so let me know what you have for sale!

Don't let the girlfriend end up with more bikes that me!!

orange

the orange now has standard grey black yeti grips and not the ugly yellow ones that are on in the pics

I have a steel gt frame and forks. i am assuming you will want something a bit flasher given your budget! just replying due to your 4000 plus ..,. comment!!

05 klein attitude, 19in, 23in toptube, disc & canti mount. needs a respray (i've started paint stripping it), otherwise sound. £130posted

pm me if interested for pics & more info

FSR

Hi
I would be willing to part with my 1994 Stumpjumper FSR frame fitted with a specialized FSX carb/Ti fork.
Frame is used but really solid and fork is minty, mint mint. The frame would come with the standard linkages and Alps 4 shock as well as a BETD long travel kit with the linkages and fox coil shock.
Looking for around £240? but would listen to offers.
Havent really thought about selling but could do with the cash due to upcoming wedding.

This is more like it guys, keep them coming..... :D

hurin76 - when I started this, I was originally thinking not an Orange, but I have to admit - I forgot about Aluminum Elites - its an option, but I'll wait and see what else I get offered first before I decide.

lewis1641 - The budget is top whack, my main priorty is I want it to inspire me so pics/link please?

scant - doesn't have to be a Klein and thanks, but I have a modern bike, so I'm looking for something from the 1990's. Something from when I first really got into mountain biking.

Jamiedyer - thanks, but I am currently thinking fully rigid (as am in process of getting a modern full sus).

lewis1641 - just noticed the link in your sig
Too small c to c but that's on the right track - if it had been a 92 Tequila Sunrise I'd have given it some serious thought!

Only 2 current options, but still looking in case that something special comes up!

Fully Rigid 90's there must be more!
