So many bike sites seem to loathe "retro". Why?

Well this sounds a lot like me... ;)

Welcome!

And yeah, this place: a godsend and homewrecker in equal measure.
My Saskatchewan wife married a New Yorker. What can she expect?!

I just took the '93 Rockhopper I got online here for CD$80.00 out for a little road rip, and a little single track in the river valley in our neighbourhood. What a fun time! Gears shifting like butter. Felt like one of my kids! ;)

It's like old film cameras, which I got one of my four kids into (my only son). It's just so satisfying different - all be it, expensive - than digital. The past is under-appreciated these days!

So you're far enough away from the west cost to be driven into the pit of handmade or handbuilt wonderful Rocky Mountain bikes or some bike maker related, because everyone seems to know every there when I read about them, either a welder, painter or had a shop that....

To be honest, LFGSS is pretty retro bike friendly. There is a bit overlap with this site.

I'm not a member there, it has it's own environment and humour which is cool.
