I think that's just crossed the line Mate!...& No, I'm in no way condoning his actions as I too can add my name to the growing list of stuff we traded that never showed up. I kinda moved on...I doubt he'll be back on here, especially with this thread in full motion!...I cannot see what the forum will do or have any liability to. We all trade on personal terms...so guess, if you're all Peeved enough to warrant any actions of your own, you should follow that up...but comments as above serve no purpose in my eyes...

I think it would be an idea for everyone involved to complete a standard letter asking for their money or goods back within a specified time limit, with the threat of court action.

Terribly sorry if the chap is genuinely ill.

Si's ebay account hasn't been used since early October or at least the one I have traded with him through hasn't, no reason he shouldn't have more than one I suppose.

Just as the Classifieds demand a price to be listed on all adverts so too should there be a ban on listing 'PayPal gift only'. Sure it may not solve all the problems but it might stop a few chancers and repeat offenders.

Treat everyone with caution and simply protect yourself with some buyer safeguards, if the seller doesn't understand (or just charge 5% more in the first place to cover costs-how hard is that?) then they are idiots and should be treated with the caution they deserve (even if they are Gold Traders, as a number of scammers have proven, it's only a name not a guarantee)
