It doesn't have the incredible paint that other bikes in this threat have, but my Roc D'Azur DX is an unusual bike in other ways.

The decals/graphics are kinda strange - like they didn't tell the decal guy they were going to use white and now you can't see ROC D'AZUR DX on the down tube very well.

I haven't been able to find pics of another with paint like this, nor am I not certain what year it's from. It has some great details like the 'outer butted' Ishiwata tubing, 'K' logo in the chainstays, Kuwahara branded seatpost and cable housing, a pump peg and bracket on the seat tube, and the chainstays that fit into lugs that are integrated into the BB shell.

That's really nice - Chainstay U-Brake ;-) plus the 'K' stay caps...

I like the colours, looks like a blast to ride but it needs some dust caps on the cranks.

Kuwahara Pro Comp GR. This one is mine, project ongoing. Got it a couple weeks ago, it was quite dirty and rough but cheap. After much cleaning, servicing and new tires, it looks much better and rides great! I still need to find a proper stem, silver of course. This adjustable one is there for me to find the correct position. The bike (I guess) is year 1996. It has a triple-butted 4130 CroMoly frame, frame is made in Taiwan, though the sticker says "Product of Japan". The fork is made in Japan. It runs the Shimano SLX group set and Ritchey seat post, Mavic rims. The weight is 12,6 kg as pictured with cheap and heavy adjustable stem. I can't find any info on these bikes anywhere. Cheers!

Of course, the original seat is a brown "Velo" branded seat, and the bike has GripShift 3x7 shifters. The original grips were brown too, stem and handlebar polished aluminium.

Really long head tube for it's size which is one thing I started appreciating a lot in retro MTBs lately. There are not many from that time that had this. Great find anyhow. Looks stunning...put up a build thread if you have some more pics!
