Shimano FD-M735 confusion

I have a m650 rear dx hub but I assumed it was later than my mo series sti of which I only have the brake levers... No idea which year either is from

Ok, i think, reading all this, the M735 should have the tension screw, but that there were a few left-overs from the 732, that were badged as: 735.

1990 M735 doesn't mention the spring tension adjuster.
1992 M735 does mention the spring tension adjuster as a feature.
1993 M735 also does.

I've not check the other catalogues as well the 1991 isn't near me, don't think it was as detailed.

Dates Code (the adjuster is Nov 1992 I think, looks like a Q not an O)

Quite interesting and had never really noticed before.

I have two with it the spring tension adjuster cam, MH and PF are the datecodes, if that helps at all

BTW, thanks for not roasting me for my technical gaffe, that information came from my brain and had been there for some thirteen years without being refreshed... Unsurprisingly it got corrupted...

Should have taken another look before answering!

Most of the things I remember from back then are all fuzzy and idealised.
I only know for certain, as not so long ago this 'what it for' came up. The Instructions are in the archive now as well,its also on later mechs.

MH = Aug 1998 that's before M735... (this wasn't a sticker on it ?)
PF = June 1991

Gah! The MH is a 732 I gave the wrong code

The other 735 is SF - with adjuster

I wonder what the other guys without adjusters on 735s have?

Mine says CH.

I can't believe that I'm being so geeky to go out in the man cave and find what it says on the back of a front mech that doesn't have a twiddly screw.
