frame looks identical to my 2005 :?

A lot of the first batch of 2005's were SS converted- as the down tube cable braze-ons were too high and hit the fork crown when the bars were turned..... They were sold off cheap to bike shop employees, a lot of whom SS'ed em.

Mine just works depending on choice of fork or headset

Still a very nice bike tho

does your headtube have a thicker band at the bottom?

The forks have been changed already

there is a reinforcing ring on the head tube.....

Mine has none, I did the serial number but it is in the garage, will post the morra, more up to date pics needed Andy, how do you rate the ride- I think it is lush.
