Salsa ala carte

Looks well cool love the paint job and those tyres look the business. Yours has that reinforced headtube thing too, is that because of the extra strain that susp forks put on the headtube?

Thanks. Yeah, I am really happy with the build. This is my newest bike and has been my primary rider since winter ended. The paint is a really lustrous pearl silver.

I got the frame/fork on eBay and didn't expect to get it for my rather paltry low-$200s bid. Odd ending time helped me out-- and what a nice riding bike!

Cool bananas, will post up some more pics soon as it is up and running albeit still a work in progress, anyone know where I might find a headtube decal? I have pm'ed Gil just a bit confused to why this has none?

some crappy pics tonight, still not finished but once the forks have been pumped up, will be ready for it's first run.

saddle is very light and super comfy and so are the bars, again pickle it's all about function this bike, the steel stumpy is my retro-correct kill my back and arse ride

It needs a rigid fork Gazz. Failing that the SID needs painting white.

Looks like a tidy ride though.

got the BOI on the yo so going for front bounce for this SS to avoid duplication in the fleet and much as folks don't like the colour I kind of like it, looking at adding a few other wee blue bits to add to the technicolour theme

anyway painting a fork is just way beyond my capabilities, a radiator is my kind of level
