Hello,
Just taken delivery of my new project.
Roy Thame 531c frame and forks with Campagnolo drop outs, 22 1/2 inch.
It is very light and similar weight to my Road Ace 12.
Rear brake cable through the frame, I hope I can get cable thru - welding wire maybe?
Frame number 692.
I am guessing 1985 - 1987, any one know when it would have been built.
Rear axle OLD is 126mm; 6-7 Speed maybe?
Then the decision of which components to use? Some input would be nice and try and keep it period.
I have not checked which threads it has - I am thinking English, I have a spare BB to put in to check.
If I go for Campag it will take a while to build, equally using Shimano Dura Ace it would take a while too.
