works fine for me. My problem is the size of the down load image is on the small size  250kb can't it be say 500?

It would help if we had a maximum picture dimensions to go by as well as maximum file size.

Still on the slow side for me.

On the subject of the galley, I'd like to see the download option a little more obvious.

I'd also like to see the magazine articles PDFed and not seperate jpeg images as that's where the speed becomes annoying as you flick through the low res and higher res images.

The size limit is in place because storage cost £££. A jpeg of 250k with size around 1024x800 is more than acceptable for screen viewing.

As mentioned above 1024x800 should be ok.

Not sure what you mean by download? Just a right click should do it.

Many catalogues are pdf'd, agreed thisformat is better. It just depends how they came to use in the first place.

Sorry for hogging this but had a eureaka moment and manged to upload some pics :D problem was I couldn't see the forest for the trees.

Still very slow but has some great stuff in there, so worth the effort.
One suggestion. An improved index. Instead of waiting for images to down load, have simple text based list...... for example, would be quicker to see if ther was a 89 FAT catalogue if it read

FAT CHANCE> Catalogues> 1988
>1990
>1991.............

..........and so on. At the moment I have to wait for the A-Zpage and images to load up , then next stage- ads, catgologues, tests, pics, etc. all to download before discovering there is not a 1989 catalogue. makes for a slow process when trying to research several bikes in one night.

Jus my 2 penarth worth, and again thanks for the efforts you guys put in
