Re-Furbished Vintage Gillette DE Razors - Where To Find?

Hiya folks,

I'm switching back to a double edge razor, these new fangled multi blade things are getting too damned expensive and don't cut as close as a single blade.

I'm looking for a Gillette Super Speed Butterfly if I can find one from somewhere. I've noted the safetyrazors.co.uk website but they don't seem to have any for sale, although list a good few which is baffling.

Can anyone point me in any other direction please? (Apart from eBay).

Why don't you throw caution to the winds and get a straight razor
You'll need steady hands though

Have you had a look in Boots, I picked one up a few years ago from there not as flash and the one you are looking for but very close, and old fashoned barbers shops still sell them.

I've been using good old safety razors for years- latest one I got from here:

Jolly good old fashioned gentlemen's service as well.

Ye can find blades cheap too, if ye go to an independant chemist, cos far less than the ones boots have in blister packs.
