Questions about Marzocchi Z1 Cartridges 1997 / 1998

Guys, I know it's been a million years, but can you change the travel from a Z1 BAM? Say, from 130mm to 110mm? What would it take? This fork appears to be from 1999-2000 (came with a '99 bike). Please?

Why do you want to do that? Get a Z1 100mm.

I haven't been able to find a Z1 Alloy (which would be the 100mm), and I thought the conversion could be cheaper. Furthermore, I actually got two Z1's - the red one is CR, i.e., it's also 130mm. I think they're both awesome, but I'm building something that is closer to a "commuter bike" and I don't want the long travel. Alternatively, I can exchange them for a similar quality fork with 100mm. Here's a picture of both forks from this week. They're both in great condition and rebound as they should. Thanks again for your advice.

Yes they're designed so you can change the travel from 130mm to 100mm. You need to change all 4 springs, two each leg. Shorter main spring and longer top out springs.
