Just coming to the end of my first retro bike rebuild, its been fun i'm now hankering for something better spec to tinker with over the coming winter months......shortlist as follows but i'd be interested in anything either part build or full bike but its does need to be a project.

Spesh stumpjumper/rockhopper 1990 - up to 96/97
Kona 1990 - upwards
Saracen Kili or similar would love an elevated model
Alpine stars al/cro mega non or elevated chainstay
Haro impulse ??

Or anything interesting

I'm 5'10" so something around 17" ish, in no major rush but do have cash waiting for the right project

There is a kili e stay frame on the for sale section for £50 delivered. Nice frames.

19" I can understand, but 17"? Climbing and descending must be "interesting"...

actually no, rode a 17" for a long time without issue. Now my bikes are 18 & 19" except the Sorrento which is far too big at 22", but would happily consider at 17". Everyone to their own, no need to knock them if that's what is comfortable, we are all different shapes and sizes

I am 5' 9" and ride everything from a 16.5" Santa Cruz to a 19" Klein

folks, had some good offers on projects but my plans have had to change after figuring out i'm going to have to spend some dosh on my modern MTB to keep it going need new brakes and bottom bracket is toast :roll:

Hopefully i'll be in the market in the new year.
