Please keep an eye out **Stolen bikes**Not good news**

What the f&£k?!

Why go to the effort of pinching them to do that? What a waste. Really sorry mate. Any chance Argos or similar could put some new tubes in?

My commiserations, mate.
I read your original post this morning...

Now this...

I feel gutted for you.

Terrible news

Man what can you say
My heart goes out to you, keep your chin up.
I am sure I speak for most here, if there is anything we could do to help let us know.
All the best
Jamie

   Absolutly ridiculous! Some people... utter scum! They would probably sell their own mother for a fiver!

WTF!, they must be retard morons to do that, sound like they could be druggie's who will do anything to get cash for their next quick fix.

I am sorry about this, aleast you got 2 Kona's saved for you, keep your chin up.

It strikes me as crazy that they would go to the risk and trouble of organising and carrying this out for the scrap metal value.

I mean how much is a light weight XC bike worth as scrap??

I hope the offenders are found rotting after a heroin overdose, sounds like their brains are already well down the decomposition road.

I hope your able to rescue some of the frames at least via a decent frame builder, and am glad you till have the 2 konas in one piece.

I just cant get over the level of stupidity involved in destroying the bikes like that.

They did at least four garages in the same street at around the same time but they didn't notice until the police banged on their door and asked them to check if anything had been taken

When I first heard I thought it must have been someone who knew about my bikes or saw me taking them there and it was some well planned theft with transport arranged for the getaway

When in reality it was a couple of morons with a Transit flatbed van parked in the street wandering around in the middle of the night with a pair of bolt cutters hoping to find anything they could weigh in

The police were saying with the price of scrap it happening more and more  its a relatively easy crime as they don't have to find someone to sell onto they just chuck everything in the back of a van mixed up with fridges and washing machines and it all just gets weighed in :?

It was just lucky in my case that there was someone from a cycling club weighing in brass turnings from his workplace who realised they must be nicked and phoned the police

just stumbled across the thread and wanted to add my (belated) commiserations.

Which tubes were cut? As a couple have mentioned - any chance you could get some rebuilt?

I'd chip in to help.
