Avanti Hammer
17.5" Kona like geometry
Double butted heat treated chromo frame with hooded drop outs
4.5lbs on digital scale
complete with E stay LX front mech.

Good quality New Zealand frame came with full LX groupo and RS forks in '96
Perfect winter beater
The only anomaly is it has a shim for what l believe to be a 22.0 seatpost stuck in the seat tube.

110mm Head tube 1" 1/8
22" Virtual top tube
68mm bb shell
29.8 approx seat tube clamp size
27.2 approx internal diameter
22mm internal of the shim

The shim really needs to come out but lm sure it would be a simple if tedious task to cut it out, l have had to do a few in the past. A good hacksaw blade in a pad saw handle or a stout pair of gloves and a bit of patience. Or possibly a friendly LBS/engineering company/metal works would be able to ream it out.

£45.00 posted in the UK pp gift or £30 cash collected from Hove nr Brighton

lts a bolt hole for the front mech to fix to. l'll dig it out and get a pic up :) lts a lovely frame, if it had Kona written on it it would have sold ten times over at this price and its lighter than a '96 lava dome :)

NOW there is a blast from the PAST!!!! I used to ride one of these while working as a mechanic at Pins cycles in Hamilton NZ 96-97 A truly beautiful thing to pedal!!!! Sorely tempted if for no other reason than it was made in the same place I was!!!!!!
Unfortunately the prospect of bike related divorce forces me to admire from a far and grin uncontrollably!!!

Great to see it!!!!!
