I recently got a pair of these - they are real beauties in the hand and to the eye - I can't wait to fit and use when my project's complete https://www.tokyobike.co.uk/mks-xc-iii- ... edals.html

Of course there are other suppliers - I think mine cost less from Germany even including post
I think you’ve just chosen my pedals for me
MKS made in Japan - nice wide and very nicely made !!
I’ll be getting these in black - funny thing is, I was reading about Wellgo MG1 in Magnesium - lighter than DMR and cheaper and apparently Wellgo make the DMR V12!

But really liking the classic style of the MKS!

Thanks

They're smart aren't they.

Thanks

Right - I was about to buy the bear traps but saw a pair of Raceface Atlas pedals with a splash of green - top of the range - I offered £50
And he accepted ! So here they are - they have signs of use - but match the cranks nicely
I put the black saddle back on.

These Raceface Atlas pedals are very light - at 345g for the pair. I took her for a spin and they feel so nice - grippy reassuring and confidence inspiring compared
To the small campagnolo pedals I had on before.

Thanks guys

The saddle and pedals you've chosen look great! Am I seeing correctly that you have golden chainrings or my computer's screen is giving me illusions?

Yes they’re golden chain rings - a mat gold rather than polished.
I was thinking of changing the mechs for M95x - not for performance (as the mech on the bike is lovely) but just to match the black - but not sure. I’m very happy with the pedals and thanks everyone for the suggestions and black saddle does look better 100%

Interesting. What's the model of these chainrings?
I'd say that if anything catches my eye on the current setup you have, it's the chainrings, but that's just me. Everything else blends in perfectly :)

The chainrings are part of the crank set which is FRM CU2 Evolution Integral.
Here’s one on sale on eBay - albeit the Scandium version
