thanks so much for sharing all of these
have been enjoying very much following along

Of course I post to get some attention and likes to stay motivated with this side of the bike hobby, but I also like to try sharing a bit about old bike parts and the retro bikes and cycling here in Finland. It's always nice when you get great conversation and questions going with other retro bike enthusiasts.
are all of the cycles active projects or do you have one which is at this time on the "front hob"?
Yes, pretty much. I don't have that much space to keep all of them complete and/or really haven't decided what to do with. I just can't refuse an old bike if the price is right (cheap or even better if it's free).
Some of these, that are not my size, I got for parts or for free and I will be building them up to sell.
At the moment I'm working on the DBS Competition. It's almost done, I'll post some pictures this weekend.
is the blue colour of the Eddy/Crescent a house/team livery of the day or simply one of several offered?
The Eddy/Crescent is from 1985 and it's the team Panasonic livery. I think it was originally sold as a frame or as a custom order as it was equipped with Super Record from the same year.
The frame is somewhat rare 3-Athlete seen on the 1984 Eddy Merckx catalogue. Reynolds 501 frame with no chrome and in the catalogue fitted with Campagnolo Victory groupset. The frame is surprisingly light for 501, at 2050g for frame and 780g for fork.
Nitor: have you had any of the firm's flat rail saddles or pillars?
recall them launching about 1959 but have never known how long produced
No, I haven't. Not that much information to be found on the whole Unica-Nitor-Cinelli relation. I only know that Cinelli bought the Unica-Nitor maybe in the 60s and that Unica made saddles and Nitor seatposts.
worked with pedal cycles for about fifty-five year and have never had one come through the workshop

Never seen one like that, thanks! I wonder if the rails were steel or aluminium? I don't think aluminium would last that long under heavy stress.
