The bike has evolved further. Ebike kit moved from another bike with a few upgrades to the Bafang mid drive motor from Lekkie. It already had their narrow wide chainring. Now has alloy drive cover with grease port & locking One Nut to hold motor firm to BB. Plus a repair to mounting bracket with nut & bolt where the thread stripped on the soft casing. BB/SD7 brakes, On One disc steel fork. Also a really secure Double Bob battery mounting plate from Grin Technologies. Plus studded tyres for this icy week to keep me rubber side up. I commuted 2200 miles last year by bike - 10% on this ebike. Sometimes I'm too knackered for the uphill ride home & my tin ankle & arthritic foot gives me jip periodically.

How hard and rough cost is it to do this conversion to electric please?
Motor gets dirty there but it's all sealed isn't it
Can any normal bike be converted?
