Could you list the weight of the three frames please Steve? But especially the 96 Hot if you haven't got the others.
I don't know the tube spec for that year, but a genuine weight might help me deduce it. I know it's a lot different from the 853 Explosifs, and the 97 differed from the 98. It could be the most desirable of all steel Konas from my point of view.

Hi Anthony, it feels very very light I've put it on the scales three times with the same result so the scales are consistant, whether their accurate is another question
The only thing I could use as a gauge to accuracy was a pair of tb P2 forks which with a very long steerer weighed 870g on the same scales :?:
