Yep, about 2 1/2 inch weld with a plate underneath. Theweld takes in the downtube brake cable guides.

Its also got the mounts for the old crud guard on the seat stays too!

Its a mish mash of parts - syncros seat post and stem, cook bros cranks with pace rings, hope f and xtr r hubs, xt/xtr group, Sub130 bars, SRAM gripshift, RC36 MXCD's and currently rocking IRC Mud Mads for the gloop of the local trails!

All in all, I love this bike! Bleedin Mint Sauces fault as well!
