Odd Benotto?

Struggling to identify this one.
It looks 70's over BB guides, bolt on calipers, top of chainstay guide and 122mm OLN.
Also graphics I've never seen and cant trace on the net, it's also light metalic pink.
And the serial number is just 2. on seat cluster and forks
26.4 seatpost. Benotto ends no mudguard eyes.

pillar size tells you it is quality plain gauge so some form of midliner model

might be Aelle although it may be slightly early for that tubeset

one of the first things to determine with a Benotto is whether it is of Italy or Mexico origin

I'm guessing mid-range model, upper stuff had diamond shaped chainstays and chrome. Sometimes you'll find a capital 'I' stamped in the BB shell denoting Italian origin.

If the frame weight you have given is correct then only thing the 26.4mm seatpost suggests is that it's the wrong size for the frame...
I would say '77-'78 model 2500 with Columbus SL tubes. Frame size is 54cm?

Agree with you SteelNIpple...in at least that's the model it's most like. But the colour, the graphics and the single number 2 on the frame seat cluster and steerer. Why so different to anything you can search?
