Now that's what I call a gravel bike - Cotic Cascade

s'lright.

The bars are still a bit too high, but ultimately its a rigid mountain bike with old fashioned geometry (compared to current enduro-sleds) and works great for the sort of riding I do which is bridleway, hack vertically up the side of a moor, bimble around a bit and then back down. I've never been into (or able to) riding technical stuff so this works well for me..

Its very stable, very controllabe and its eye opening just how much more responsive a rigid bike is.

its very similar to my old Soul 26. but with bigger wheels and more mounting points. the head angle and reach are similar but seat tube is slightly steeper.

My Jones bar have arrived too so will be interesting to see what they are like.

I built up a Cotic Solaris earlier this year in a very similar “ATB” fashion. But I do wish I had the mudguard mounts that the cascade frame has. Bar is the on one rip-off
