Northern Lights

You can tell they're 'northern' lights as you can just see the flat cap behind the whippet and the chips & gravy.

And of course, these 'northern' lights are so much better than any of the soft southern pansy lights

But they only have an outside toilet...

And scratchy paper...

I saw them a few years back up at Cairngorm.
I can imagine it's one of those things you'd never tire of seeing.

Well Northumberland was due a show yesterday.

News says the solar flares are causing chaos .....

Non stop rain all day yesterday in lakes where I am, I have yet to see them still.

is that it then, have i missed them?

Maybe not. There is lots of solar activity going on at the moment. Thursday and Fridays nights are forcast to be clear of cloud in Northumberland, so with some luck we might get another chance.

Tempted to head for Thrunton on Thursday if it's clear.

There's a few of us heading up on Thurs at the usual time, you coming?

There was a strange bright glow coming from my Curtains on Monday...Thought it might be the lights, but looked out & it was a Police Helicopter hovering with a search light...
