Having seen the All Things Orbit thread I am hoping this is in the correct area.
I had not realised the interesting history of the Orbit brand until reading that thread.
I look after a fleet of tandems for a local charity, many of the bikes are newer Orbits but there are two older steel framed Orbits, one is a Gemini, but it is the other I am trying to identify.
I have not managed to spot the frame number in any of the usual locations so I would be grateful for any other suggestions where to look. The frame is made from 531 competition tubing, I suspect that the brakes have been changed at some time as they are now hydraulic not the original centre pull cable ones.
It was gifted to the charity many years ago but there are no geed records of model, frame number or age/year of manufacture. I am trying to get a good record of what we have so that informed decisions on the future of each bike can be made.
Hopefully someone will be able to tell me what model this purple and silver bike is and where I might find out more about it, and places to try and find the frame number
