This GT Tequesta frame has been hanging around in the garage for a couple of years but the seatpost is seazed solid so having seen a video on youtube i decided to have a go at building a ski bike!

Some old skis of fleabay and a couple of evenings later and here we are, can't wait for some decent snow!

That's brilliant - what are the blocks made from, did you just screw through the skis into them? we need plans and instructions :)

I just used what I had, the blocks are made from some decent plywood sandwiched together and glued and screwed, the skis are drilled and countersunk and screwed on to the blocks, the axles are m10 threaded bar with nuts and washers as fixings, the bungees are there to keep the front of the ski's up as they float.
If anybody wants some more photos let me know :)
