New build - Filet de Cougar

Downed tools a bit earlier than usual today and started the test build...gratuitous photos below:

I have a similar project going on at present too will have to do the decent thing and get some pictures up.

I'm really not sure about the carbon with the blue. Dunno if it's a groupset change or colour change yet though.

As the frame might need repainting go for a colour change but something different no blues or reds.

that blue is definitely a silver groupset kinda colour

I tend to follow dark/bold colour - silver groupset, light/pastel colour - dark groupset

I'm thinking maybe a gunmetal with gloss and white decals... I think that would blend the chrome and carbon very well. Maybe a matte grey hard anodised effect and running a pair of matching archetypes.

Or...

touching up/replicating current paint and putting silver mechs and chainset on. It's actually a lovely blue in daylight

When I first saw this frame on t'interweb it reminded me of your lovely Dave Lloyd... although this obviously has a much more staid paintjob and takes proper adult sized wheels
