Hey...just bought this...usual story, always wanted one since blah blah blah.

It has the following 'wrong' components: Bars, bar ends, stem, headset, seat, forks, pedals and skewers...plus it should be bare polished alu (see pic 2)

My question is...what forks??? The obvious choice would be Syncros Powerlites but I ain't getting any younger and i'm not sure I want a bone shaking rigid..... :? :? :? :?

nice project Neil - definately needs some lovin'. Those forks are just so wrong!

I agree with Lid - strip the paint off and throw loads of black Syncros kit at it.

ok...the post is already Syncros but suffered a 'fatal wound' during transit, I have a black Cattleprod on my RC200 that is coming off (cos im going Ahead/CattleHead on that)...I have a few sets of Syncros Revolutions 'in stock' so one set are kinda earmarked for this already...black Syncros bars...Hmmm theres a problem....fork wise I was possibly thinking early Rock Shox....maybe????

Looks like they have done some good prep for the paint. Its gonna take some polishing

Got to be Powerlite forks though really, anything else won't be quite right.. :?
