Hi 20 questions time.

Saw a lovely Gt locked up this morning.
Looked early, about 18" all black frame with GT logo with wings (bit like BMX logo !!).
No model no.
True Temper GTX sticker on seattube.
XT kit on it, U-brake.
Skinwalls.
Round GT logo on front of headtube !!

Any ideas, I got a couple of rubbish pix, will try to load later.

Any ideas. Wondered if it have BMX decals on it, but they look damn
cool if they are !

Could be a respray, weirdly my first thought before the picture was a '92 Richter 8.0 (which came with Rock Shox), so seeing the pictures has reinforced that for me. That would make the Project 2's as replacement make sense:

U Brake, XT/DX mix, black (re-decaled though), looks like a possibility.

Its was very pretty and well looked after.
Brakes levers /front brake were XT, GT bars, think stem was syncros. So
real vintage GT kit look.
Had Kona forks which didn't quite match but weren't awful.

Judging by components Richter could be a good call. Defo 92, frame looks exactly like my Karakoram. Decals are not original apart true temper sticker. Anyway, Richter, Karakoram, Avalanche and Bravado are same, once decals are removed can't be sure what model is. Haven't seen black Avalanche or Bravado though.
