hi Rich
the forks are 2004/5 i think. they have probably done 500 miles since I bought them as they have been on a 'garage queen'. my youngest lad arrived not long after i bought them and cycling has taken a bit of a back seat since then too - so they've had an easy life!
i have never had them serviced because they have never needed it. i have ridden lots of suspension forks and these are far and away the plushest.
there is no wear nor scratches on the stanchions, if there was i would have mentioned it!
the only other scratches are in the dropouts and on the disc mount, but as you can't ride without a wheel and the forks are disc only you'll never see these anyway!
hope this helps
cheers
Dave

My guess would be not, but do you know if the XT V-brake tune-up kits work with XTR (m950) as well? Pretty sure they won't, but can't see why they wouldn't :?

Cheers!

i did wonder that myself, but because it's got br m739 plastered all over it i figured they wouldn't work for XTR.
i think the xtr design is slightly different to xt, which is probably why the xt ones rattle more than the xtr ones!!!
