what is the actual length of the pace fork steerer then mate?

did the previous seller find both v brake mounts?

cheers

i make it 193mm steerer length, forks are 100mm travel, 440mm axle to crown.
Mark found the mounts that replace the disc brake guide.
The only thing missing now is the pivot bolts/brake stud/whatever you call it.
The bit that sticks out with the threads inside that the brake bolt affixes to!!!! :)
I might have a set of them kicking around somewhere which I'll chuck in if I can find them.
cheers
Dave

440mm axle to crown would make them 80mm?

Is that not 440mm axle to base of crown rather than crown race for headset?

sorry should have been more clear, think you were right to ask the question!
when i first measured it it was 440mm but this was from the bottom of the axle to the centre of the crown (i.e. the bottom of the steerer tube.)

i've just checked again and from the centre of the axle to the middle of the crown (i.e. the bottom of the steerer tube) is 430mm, which would make them 90mm travel!!!
i've put some pictures up as a 'picture speaks a thousand words'.

Just to clarify, the forks are 80mm travel as set at the moment. But you can make them 100mm buy popping apart and moving a spacer and a spring. Instructions are on the Pace website.

They we're stripped and cleaned about 100 dry road miles ago and fitted with new lock out cable and circlips.
