Following my Hawzie Team Trials build last year I've been on the look out for a good Ashton Cannondale build contender and this week I picked it up!

A Cannondale M800 BOtE. It's officially a '95 bike, but has the '96 onwards dropouts and is in all intents and purposes the 96/97 Caad2 frame I believe. Any which way it's perfect for my build. I'm going Viper Red with the 97 Ashton decals to suit!

Have had a set of P-Bones sitting around waiting for it, so keen to get everything off to be sandblasted and powder coated to get things kicked off!

Same! Looking forward to building this one! Built the Giant Team Trials last year so this completes the pair!

Frame and forks went off for powder coating this week! Hoping to have it back next week ready for decals and then it'll go back for the clear coat.

In the meantime I've started picking up a few bits.

DILEMMA! Jumped on a set of NOS Middleburn RS2's last week which looked lovely... but immediately questioned the decision and whether I should have gone with RS7s. The RS2's arrived today and really are amazing, but do I stick or twist for some RS7s, probably not NOS?????

They came from a nice guy over in Bulgaria. Found them in a thread on here ... feeling like it was a good find!
