Here's an idea.

How about get a Marin front end (that don't crack) and bolt on the lovely machined rear end of a Manitou frame?

The back end is is just as bad for cracking too unfortunately, i have a scrap frame bought for the seatpost rear bridge and other bits, has cracks in the headtube but also on the chainstay at the BB pivot and the rear fork crown, it's in a real state :cry:
 
Here is what she said about the bike in the email.

The Serial number is FH3LA0034. There is another set of numbers more in the center, but it is covered by the brake cables. Unless I dismantel that I can't get those numbers. These ones should be the right ones.
