Look MI-60 Frame and Forks - SOLD

Dave_H

Old School Grand Master
Previously owned by tkboyle - recently refurbished by him and in excellent condition. Have been slowly building it up but was round at a mates house last night and he tempted me with the makes of a new (non retrobike) project, and I need to make some funds to pay for it.

Sad to see it go.

It's 16" - Kona type sizing

Frame and forks - £100 posted
Frame, forks and Deore mechs - £125
Frame, forks and XT mechs - £140

SOLD

Have other bits up to pretty much a complete bike.

Free bump, but that is uber cool. It would have to be a pretty good bit of modern chicanery to sell that.

Look

it was me that did the refurb then sold to TKB, but I can vouch for the frame, superb hand mitred welding by Paul Grisley in Canada, custom drawn tubesets, not light but incredibly strong, in the same class as a Chance, but don't rust the same, frames only were thick end of a £1000 back in 91/92. The ride is sublime-free bump!

Interested in the frame- what are the top tube and eff. top tube lengths please?

& who did the respray??

Cheers

same as above please

ht length?
tt+ett length?
seat post dia?

price for frame and xt mech's?

cheers

Frame measures up 16" C to T, 15" C to C with a 21" top tube.

Takes a 27.2 seatpost.

Not looking to sell the frame and forks seperately - they need to go together.

Not sure who did the respray - you'd have to ask Wold Ranger that. It is an excellent job though.

Have remembered that the seatpost is a funny size - 29.something-or-other, but have a shim to 27.2 which I'll include. Will also include the grips in the pics and a black seatbolt.
