Just checked, they was. About the same (claimed) as the FSX, MAG21-SL/Ti & AMP it seems

Interesting suggestions! I'd rather not run rigid, as I have neck/shoulder issues, suspension forks mean less long-term pain! I'm gonna go with the AMPs, I've always liked the look of them (!), and I somehow think they'll compliment the frame.

Speaking of which, here she is. Scruffy but sound, I'm going to strip the paint, repaint, resticker and she'll be as good as new.

The closest I could get to this BITD was a 8700 in purple. I've loved these frames for a very long time.

Not NOS, but as close as I could find, they're immaculate!

1294g with a very long aluminium steerer and crown race.

Sub- 20lbs on a retro build?

Anything below 22 lbs was pretty much impossible with a suspension fork BITD.

This should be interesting.

Back in the day, some US stores were offering AMP's at different weights, the lightest and most expensive was 18.5lbs, that was full suspension

I'd opt for an AMP
Yes as lightweight as an RS FSX but the amp actually tracks,whereas the RS and most others will flex :?
