All the answers are in my threadInteresting, the frame was made spring/summer of '98, which makes sense as it has the '98 cable routing, but is a Columbus frame when the Explosifs of that time were Reynolds 853 (my '98 853 Explosif frame is H8G0 7405 so built at roughly the same time, same factory). And they therefore were presumably making just a few of these frames to the later specs (in terms of cable routing) but the older tubing, and this was happening alongside the production Explosifs. I'd be interested to know the S/N on some of the other Team "Explosifs" and whether they were all built in one batch (@al-onestare 's is very close to your S/N for example). And I guess this was all because of the Columbus sponsorship.
I'll check mine again in the morning. I'll be "racing " it at the Malverns Classic XCCheers Al, I appreciate you commenting on this.
