My beloved Humu cruiser - owned by me since it was brand new in 1995!

Later that year I added the Onza H.O's and Dia Compe SS7 levers as the originals were awful, also a smaller chainring to make commuting easier.

Over the years I wore out the original seat and it now wears a more modern Kona seat and post.

Rear tyre is now a nice amber wall Z-Max, front is a Kona A:Drive, both are very good.

Everything else is pretty much original apart from the grips and the pedals.

This bike has done a lot of miles with me and has scrapes and scratches but nothing serious and no dents. Onza brakes work well and have no cracks. A great fun bike to ride!

Looking for £180 posted in the UK for this piece of Kona history. Pick up in Hampshire is fine too.

I stand corrected - bike is 16" Measurements are:

Top tube CTC: 22.2"
Chainstays: 18.2"
Wheelbase: 41.5"

I'm 5 10" and it fits me as shown perfectly.

Is that a classic 911 tucked away in the garage? ill swap for that!

Dont take this the wrong way as its meant to be light hearted, but apart from changing the tyres, and the saddle, and the seatpost, and the chainring, and the brakes, and the grips, and the levers...theres not much left original! 8)

lovely bike, if it were bigger id make an offer so I could park it next to my 97 a'ha and 05 Humu.

p.s. keep it! its too nice and youve owned it from new, it worth more to you than a good night out on the town...and a few kebabs.

oh, and if you fit a different bar to it, i'd love to buy yours for my a'ha

It certainly is an old 911 - my other hobby!

I know what you're saying about the bike - I'd love to keep it, we've been through a lot! Unfortunately it's a story all too familiar to retrobike...

I've seen something else I want!

I can't bear to sell my kilauea as I've only just finished it, and I can't fit too many more bikes in!

As I said before - happy to take offers but would rather it went to good home here rather than ebay. Seems a shame to split it as well.[/code]
