Kona Chainstay protector decal (with Kona written on it)

Righto, I have measured the existing protector on my Kona and reproduced the graphic in AI format and printers PDF (ironically I do this for a living) and am going to send it to Gil. If there is enought demand (which I think there may be) he may be able to help us all out.

How about printing the decal in the normal way, then applying it to a cut piece of thin Carbon Fibre, followed by a protective layer of Heli tape? Or is it possible to print directly to the CF?

I know its not original but it would look the dogs nuts!

You can print directly ontp the vinyl. Kona do it so it has to be possible

You could do the other route, ie print logo in white, onto carbon, with helitape, but you would be looking at a fair bit of faffing around and the cost would be too high.

I shall try to link up a picture of my design in a mo....

But good news that there are a few takers already..... and probably a hell of a lot more to come!!!

Nice! It would look even better if you elongate it a bit to match the taper of the stays.

it nearly does its 21cm long, I copied the exact one from my Kona, even down to the length of the logo against the total length

Will look great when new and on the frame, Gils taking a look at it on Monday to see what can be done... !
