Nice work Martin and yes: finally some good humor in this topic! LOL, you get a sponge in your neck from your wife

The only sponge action I need is my wifes sponge action in the kitchen after I have cooked lunch.
The leg in the back is ready to primer. On the leg infront is still alot of aluminum oxide.

I dont understnad what you mean to prior to priming ( im not a native speaker) but when i use an acid what do you think happens to the surface?
Jon means, do you use an etch (or acid) primer, on the bare magnesium, as would be done on a bare aluminium or steel...? On top of the etch primer, goes the regular, high build primer
Back to the frame the polyester filler is also gone. The next step is to smoth the surface and spray on some new etch primer on the frame.
No I mean etched with a fine abrasive media then etch primed....
