very impressive offer

you have a PM

If you are going on acting like children in a sand pit wondering who can bake the bigger sand cake i have to stop this threat.

So please act like gentlemen and use pm for non repaint related stuff.

I think everybody gives his best and giving information to a forum is voluntary. So don`t spit on somebody because you don`t find the information you want.

Well said Martin

I was going to paraphrase it slightly less politely... something to do with little boys in the changing room, and a ruler, but you put it so much more subtly

I think it is quite telling that the 2 professionals whose work is being discussed here, have been the most restrained, while those that have little actual merit on the subject, other than (probably biased) opinions, have been the most stinging and vociferous keyboard warriors

Credit to Martin and JonRock
Shame on the others

As you can see Martin those flagged forks have made quite an impression and thank you for posting something away from just kleins to show your skills can be varied as well as expertly done

Martin,

How have you prepared the metal pre primer?

Tell me Martin how much are you charging for this repaint?

I think you need to put the airbrush down and switch to some sponge action next time!

J

Using some Mag21 fork legs I show you to prepare the aluminum.

The leg in the back is ready to primer. On the leg infront is still alot of aluminum oxide. The Primer wont`t stick on such a surface.

Using mild acid and a brush you can remove the top layer of the aluminum oxide. But please wear good protection stuff.

Using an old towel you can rub of the aluminum oxide and the fork leg is ready for primer.

Information about the repaint is also on the webspace.

The only sponge action I need is my wifes sponge action in the kitchen after I have cooked lunch.
