Karma Kona!! Knocked together in an afternoon.....

Re:

Nice build and it has got me wishing i'd hung on before buying my Rock rider which is in dire need of attention especially the forks as their buggered so if you do decide to change your forks then i maybe interested in those straights as i just love the look but any way i just gotta admire your commitment in creating a master piece ;) 8) ..

Re:

Why, thank you!! It's in it's 5th or 6th incarnation now, and about to go SS I think....

However, today could be your LUCKY day! As part of the SS thing I decided to treat him to some proper P2's, so these will be going. I take it you read through and saw that they were not P2's, but Carrera Subway forks? Anyway, PM me if you want them dirt cheap and I can give you their vital stats, the Tange headset may have to stay with them as it could be a bugger getting that crown race off with the wide seating area....

Re:

Just shows what you can do!. A total inspired build, I keep coming back to this!.

Nice baby blue colour as well. :)

Re:

Thanks guys, really really appreciate the kind comments, I always think he looks a mess with so many different colours on him! But that could be changing, may be a little better co-ordinated by the end of next week....

Possibly!

I did have a brief wobble recently and considered finding a much lighter frame to hang the bits off, but you've rekindled my love, and we will get out together again soon, weather and sucessful conversion permitting...more pics then!

Hi mate , Yes i do know that the forks are not P2's which doesn't bother me in the slightest however i can't get the measurement of the steerer on mine atm due to the bike being buried at the back of the shed which is pitch black inside with it being dark now and i don't have a working torch atm so will have to measure up tomorrow but i most certainly want the forks if the steerer is long enough ;) ..

It's short, as the frame is so small....sure from memory (same issues as you re. sheds!) that it's only 175mm. Anyway, not going anywhere for now so let me know and I can measure properly then.

Well 175mm as got me thinking it might just work as the steerer on the Rockrider didn't look very tall after having my previous bike which was 200mm long but looks can be deceiving with my present bike being in a dark colour so i'll just have to be patient until i can measure up tomorrow and i'll hopefully get back on here with my findings sometime in the morning as were having windows fitted atm by the housing association ..

When are we being treated to some more updated pics as i just realised that you had mentioned a change in the appearance of certain coloured bits ;) ..

Re:

Work keeps getting in the way....

Still not got all the bits I need to do the SS thing, at that point I'll update the thread.... :D
