That "So..." thing riles me too. I hear it on Radio 4 all the time, usually from the expert who's just been asked a question by the presenter. I think it's the modern equivalent of "Erm.."

Arrrgh! The [political] organisation I work for loves all of these nonsense phrases. It has a youth committee, amongst many many other committees. They published a mag called 'CWU Youth'. It then evolved to become 'Futureproof'. After two or three issues, it got killed off :lol:
