Hey there, decided it is time to get a new project, sp stripping down the Marin Indian Fire Trail. First off is the seat post.
This is OE from the '94 vintage oversize aluminium framed bike, so is a "Marin lite" post measuring 310mm in length.
Here are some photos. Unfortunately the flash on my little compact camera has made it look like it has been through the wars. In reality this post has hardly been in and out of the frame, but varying lights, and saddle bags have made their mark.
Structurally this baby is faultless. I have never felt the need to "upgrade this as it is strong and light (288g).
Price starts at £15 posted.
