sorry if this has been covered before (i did search but didnt find anything...)
i am rebuilding my old 95 ish kona and have just bought a set of butterscotch tioga's in fantastic condition. in my search i have seen plenty of old cracked and generally past it tyres.
is there anything i can do to these tyres to ensure they will not deteriorate over the coming years, or at least try and slow the process down. i'm assuming storing out of sunlight is a good idea but are there any other tips out there please.
while i'm on the hunt for advice...
i am replaceing my blue anodised nipples with gold but the blue ones seem to have seized onto the stainless spokes. any ideas how i can get round this or will i need new spokes too?
thanks in advance
