how to get a glued bb out

hi,ive got a 1991 nishiki alien sp and need to get the bottom bracket out to replace it and it wont move,i got the bike new and im sure i remember the lad said he would glue the mavic bb in.does anyone know how to get it out ive put all my weight behind it and it wont budge,also does anyone know anybody with a alpinestars al-mega xt or dx 1990 not the eos model from 91

Strong solvent I guess. Or a bit if heat, hard to tell without pictures. Didn't the Mavic BB use a modified BB shell? Why are you removing it, is it knackered.

I believe mikee and GT-Steve both own the non-EOS al-mega's.
