Holdsworth Headtube badge size

Please can I ask a huge favour?

If anyone has a 50s/60s Holdsworth, would you be so kind as to measure across the badge mounting rivets (or holes) for me?

I've got an un-badged frame that I'm 99% sure is a Holdsworth Zephyr from the late 50's/Early 60's (see Your Roadbikes section), but the clincher would be if the badge fits!

Approx 57mm.
Theres a loads of "frame numbers" and "build years" out there on the www. Have a search around and you should be able to narrow down the year it was built.

Brilliant, many thanks SG! I measured the holes on my frame at 58mm centre to centre, so that's about as conclusive as I can get that it once sported a Holdsworth badge.

As suggested, I'll try to narrow down the exact year of build from the frame number now (25437).

*Edit* lengthy "Googling" suggests that this is a late 1958/early 1959 frame.
