I'm trying to Email decal images to Gil-m using talktalk web mail, I can't send them as attachments or as insert picture as it says file is too big, I have reduced picture size and It still won't send.
I can't find on talktalk any upload sizes. Never sent any pics on email before....... Any advice appreciated please :?

As a rule of thumb try to stay under the 5mb mark for email attachments. Some email providers allow more, some less. And indeed even if you manage to send a larger attachment, if the recipients provider doesnt handle larger file sizes, they wont recieve it.

Remember its file size that matters, not "physical" size of the image, although they are frequently linked, depending on file types and compression.

Try splitting the images you are sending across multiple emails if you cant get the file size to a useable point.

Send the pictures in separate emails or if you're still having trouble then you could upload them to a photobucket (or similar) account and email him the links?

upload it to a file hosting site or similar e.g. http://rapidshare.com/
or if they are standard images google images, flickr, somewhere that doesn't alter the the file.
Then email him the link

or open a googlemail account and do it from there.

Thanks for the advice and links, my son has come in and bailed me out, still not sure how he did it though. Them Pesky Kids.
I'll try and suss it out eventually.
